The Blum Center’s work is directed and carried out by a core team of faculty, staff, and graduate student researchers. The Center’s efforts are overseen by an Advisory Board comprised of UCSC faculty members with expertise on issues related to poverty, inequality and social justice from a range of academic perspectives, from the local to the global level. UCSC undergraduate and graduate students contribute to the Center’s work through their participation in Blum Center projects, often conducted with community partners, and through their own Blum-supported research and internship projects.
